Aaliyah Haughton became famous after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age Ain't nothing but a number. It was Gold in the year she turned just 15 years old. It was done as an album that was heavily inspired by R. Kelly and it placed her in the limelight. In 1996, she collaborated together with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Could Only Know. Aaliyah received international recognition for her R&B vocals on the release of this album. She appeared alongside the martial arts legend Jet Li in the 2000 action-romance film Romeo Must Die. She was born in Connecticut to a family of Indian descent. Mann, her stage name is an abbreviation for Mankad which is her name as a married surname. But, she has both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for professional names. Her acting career began in the mid 2000's, with a few appearances on television and in films. In addition to The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials, including Volvo's global car producer. Her home is in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She will continue to pursue an acting profession.
